Central Valley HS Sports
Helping our CVHS athletes

Central Valley High School and Mark Whitley, PT of Inland Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, P.S. have enjoyed a twenty year  relationship.  For those many years, Mark has provided game coverage for football and both girls and boys basketball.  Mark has even accompanied the CVHS teams to state championship football and basketball playoffs. Providing services to these young athletes is very rewarding, especially when such patients return for other needs decades later.

In 2004, Inland Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, P.S., in cooperation with Butch Walters, the  Athletic Director of CVHS, expanded their services to the school.  The athletic training room is now staffed after school by a certified athletic trainer  provided by Inland Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab P.S.  Anna Anderson  is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through  the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  She is available to the coaches and athletes for injury assessment, treatment, preventative assistance as well as rehabilitation.

With a link between Inland Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab and Central Valley High School through certified athletic trainer Anna Anderson, your athlete can receive the most advanced, up-to-date care to help them speed along and get back on the playing field.  Anna is available to all CV athletes but as the training room has only limited rehab equipment, Anna may send home a letter recommending further care at Inland Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab.  If a letter is sent home, give our office a call and our office staff can provide you with further information  including insurance and billing information, scheduling, prescription information and doctor referrals.

Inland Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab are also the coordinators for the Central Valley district annual sports physicals scheduled in June in the gym at CV.   Athletes from any school are invited to participate and the sports physical meets the requirements for both middle and high school sports and summer camps.  Physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers donate their services to perform the sports physicals and 100% of all  fees collected fund the CVHS athletic department budget.  For information call the CVHS office in the spring for more information or check out the CVHS reader board in May/June.
